Time flies too, and we’ve found a few other things that fly, especially during the month of May, as noted in our terribly clever post title. There are three furry conventions in the next month or so, so check out our mascot section or maybe order a custom costume. There are also a handful of comic cons that may inspire some cosplay.
Furaffinity United: Apocalypse happening May 20-22, 2011 in Mt. Laurel, NJ will have panels covering survival in the New Jersey Wasteland and how to cope with zombies, mutants and other bizarre creations borne of the radioactive wastes. Plus, a highly stocked game room, signature cocktails and midnight raves!
Conjurations in Montreal, Canada May 14-15, 2011 is a game convention for fans of roleplaying games (RPGs), miniatures wargames, collectible card games, non-collectible card games, board games, live action roleplaying games (LARPs) (we like costumed LARPs best…), and similar hobbies.
Motor City ComicCon May 13 – 15, 2011 Novi, MI will have super-hottie Tricia Helfer as a guest. She’s known for playing Number Six in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica miniseries and television series, among other things.
Nola Comic-Con May 14 – 15 in New Orleans, LA is just a good excuse to visit that great city! Their dealers room will have a large selection of comics, toys, anime, manga, statues, original art, and more, and their programming has expanded to feature panels, cosplay and contests!

In June, you’ll have to choose between two furry cons happening at the same time: WTF? Night of the Furry Dead June 3-5, 2011 in Montréal, Quebec (that’s in Canada) and Califur: Post Apocalypse June 3-6, 2011 in Irvine, California.
