Haibane Renmei Anime

A dream of falling from the sky...and then birth. Rakka is born from a large cocoon into the Old Home, greeted by a group of females with small wings on their backs and shining halos above their heads. Soon Rakka’s own wings grow, a halo is placed on her head and she is told that she must work in the nearby town of Grie. She soon realizes that the town and the entire world they live in are confined behind the Wall, a tall, impenetrable wall that none except the mysterious Toga are allowed to exit.

Rakka, a newly born Haibane (Angel) awakens into an unfamiliar world with only a strange dream of falling from the sky as her only memory. Alone and scared of who and what she is, she is cared for by fellow Haibane as they try and search for the meaning of their existence as well as what lies beyond their town's imprisoning walls. Kaleido Star Anime

I love this anime but most of the time, Sora is unbearable to watch. I hate it when she loses confidence in herself and end up failing. For instance, she's given an opportunity to be a lead in the show. She trains so hard to perfect the routine but when it's time for her to perform, she gets distracted, start to doubt herself, give up half way or screw up her performance. It's like she enjoys humiliating or embarrassing herself. I don't remember who many times I cursed while watching this but overall, the story is really good.

My fave character is Layla. I just love her. There are yuri hints/atmosphere between Layla and Sora especially in season 1 and with Anna and Mia. There are some yuri-ish moments in season 02 as well. (Don't worry, the torrent download covers both seasons).

Anyway, I recommend you check this out. I'm not a fan of circus and stuff but I immensely enjoyed watching this anime.

Plot

Sora, a young girl from Japan, comes to America in search of her dream. She wants, with all her heart, to be a member of the famous Kaleido Stage, a combination of musicals, acrobatics and magical effects. With the help of her friends, she struggles to make this dream come true. Anime News Network

Bamboo Blade Anime

I love this anime especially Kawazoe Tamaki (the cute girl in the middle). She is one of the cutest anime character I've seen. She's like a baby.. I just love her.

Is it yuri? Well, Reimi has a one sided crush on Miya-Miya. She stalked her all the time but she's harmless. Between Kirino and Saya, they're best friends and I don't think there's anything more than that. For Tama-chan and Rin, yeah, maybe. They're rivals in kendo (both are really skilled too) and a huge fan of Braver and Shinaider, who are also rivals in an anime.

I've never been interested in Kendo before, not until I watched this anime.

Plot

Toraji Ishida is a high school kendo teacher. His friend and fellow kendo teacher makes him a bet: if Ishida can assemble a girls' kendo team that can defeat his girls' team in a practice match, he'll treat Ishida to free meals at his father's sushi restaurant for a whole year. Hidamari Sketch x 365 Anime

This is on my top 10 fave anime list. I watch this everyday since for the past 3 1/2 months (Yeah, I memorized some of the lines already) This is one of the few anime who can really make me laugh out loud.

I love all the characters in this anime. For yuri, there's definitely something going on with Hiro and Sae. Natsume has a crush on Sae too and she gets really jealous if Sae mentions Hiro.. So cute.

Miyako is just hilarious. I love everything about her. Same with Yuno. I love Yoshinoya sensei too. I find her cute most of the time. Same with the landlady.

This is definitely a must watch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I've seen the OVAs and Season 2 as well but this one is the funniest.

Plot:

Hidamari Sketch centers around a young girl named Yuno who finally is able to get accepted into Yamabuki Art High School, which she has longed for. To attend the school, Yuno moves and starts to live in a small apartment building named the Hidamari Apartments (ひだまり荘 Hidamari-sō?) located across the street from the school. Once there, she quickly becomes friends with three other occupants at the apartments, including her classmate Miyako and two second-year students: Hiro and Sae. The events of the characters' everyday lives are shown as they attend the school together and get to know each other better.
