Synopsis:
Lupin III (ルパン三世, Rupan Sansei) is a manga and anime media franchise created by Kazuhiko Kato under the pen name of Monkey Punch. The story follows the adventures of a gang of thieves led by Arsène Lupin III, the grandson of Arsène Lupin, the gentleman thief of Maurice Leblanc's series of novels. Lupin and his gang travel throughout the world to steal treasures and escape from the law.
This is the latest television special of the popular manga/anime character, Lupin III. The special features the return of one of the villains of the original television series, Mamo Kyousuke. The special is a part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the original manga.
