Iblard Jikan

Produced by Studio Ghibli and directed by Naohisa Inoue, the story is set in the imaginary world of Iblard, originally depicted in paintings by her. The paintings of Iblard also inspired the fantasy sequences of Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart. The film is 30 minutes long and consists primarily of Naohisa Inoue's fantasy paintings of the Iblard world. Studio Ghibli digitally animated portions of the paintings and integrated original elements into the scenery. There are 8 separate segments, each featuring a different painting or landscape and instrumental musical piece. The film is quite calming and relaxing, and provides a great showcase of Ghibli "eye candy," but its appeal would likely be restricted to those seeking to complete their collection of Ghibli pieces due to its focus on "looking through the window" rather than telling an overarching story.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou

This is not so much a story as it is a slice of life. Or rather, it is a look into portions of the life of a girl named Alpha, together with the people around her. Alpha runs a little cafe on the outskirts of Yokohama. There are almost no customers, but Alpha does not mind at all since she has the occasional company of the old man who runs the gasoline stand down the road, as well as that of his grandson Takahiro. This is a Yokohama of the future, when the sea covers most of the land and roads have disappeared under sand or water. Alpha is in fact a robot, looking after the cafe during her owner`s indefinite leave of absence.

Studio Ghibli`s latest full-length animated feature directed by Hayao Miyazaki`s son Goro Miyazaki! Ah My Goddess Manga

While staying alone in his dormitory, college student Keiichi Morisato was trying to call some restaurants for delivery when he accidentally called the Goddess Help Line. Suddenly, the mirror near him glowed and a beautiful goddess named Belldandy appeared out of it. She granted Keiichi his one wish for her to be his girlfriend forever. After being kicked out of the dorm, Keiichi and Belldandy now live in an old temple with her sisters Urd and Skuld.

Please note that this manga started in the 1980s and is still going today, thus the art style changes as the artist improves and as times change. The beginning chapters use a 80's fashion style; big hair, leather clothes etc while the newer ones are more like the anime and more modern in style. Please bear that in mind if you read this.

In what seems ordinary belies occurances of unexplainable circumstances, and underlying these special occurances is the presence of one's dreams or "yume". In this world, the said "yume" is composed of strong emotions... Simultaneously, these emotions will break free from one's mind and transcend the borders to reality. Brain Powerd

In the not so distant future much of the earth has been submerged under the sea or destroyed by earthquakes. At the center of the turmoil is the mysterious Orphan. Orphan may or may not be the original cause of the cataclysms. Orphan`s goal is to raise a ship hidden deep beneath the sea to the surface, but doing so would result in the destruction of all humans except for the small number which are loyal to Orphan.

Orphan`s agents pilot mysterious mecha known as Grand Cheres, and search the world for mysterious, giant disks which occasionally appear, flying at high speeds and wrecking much of the countryside, or cities, when they hit the ground. After a dying disc almost kills Hime, a Brain Powerd is born from the disc. Brain Powerds are another type of Mecha, similar to but not the same as Grand Cheres.

Hime becomes the Brain Powerd`s pilot, forming a symbiotic relationship with the living mecha and joins an International Organization dedicated to stopping Orphan, or at the very least saving humanity should Orphan succeed.

Melody of Oblivion

A great war occurred in the 20th century between humans and monsters. Since that time, the monsters rule the world in fear but keep relatively hidden from public view. Soukou no Strain

In the distant future, mankind is divided into two powers; Union and Deague. They have continued a war so long that no one is sure when it began. Union uses manned weapons, Strain is the main military power, while Deague uses unmanned weapons Tumoru.

Sara Viereck, a daughter of a good family, is a Union’s 16-year-old girl who goes to Grapera Space Armed Soldier Academy located in Cranial Solar System in order to become a full-fledged Reasoner (a pilot of Strain).

Episode 1: Ilfa, the first humanoid robot completed by Sango-chan, needs some practical experience with humans and therefore performs a training at the Kosaka place - working for Yuusuke (a camera freak and peeping-tom with a maid fetish) and his strict onee-san Tamaki.

Episode 2: When Tataaki, Yuusuke and all the girls go for a day at the beach Takaaki invites Komaki Ikuno (Manaka's sickly younger sister) to tag along. As the girl suspects Takaaki to be Manaka's boyfriend she hesitatingly accepts, intending to act as guardian for her precious sister.

Episode 3: Takaaki and shy female class-rep Kusugawa Sasara have worked out plans for the school festival but school president Marianne, Kusugawa's only friend, rewrites these plans at the festival's eve, adding lots of weird "libido" elements.

Satou Tatsuhiro is a 22 year old man, who is a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a hikikomori (meaning acute social withdrawal). He thinks everything around him is a conspiracy, including the reason why many people, including himself, become hikikomori. Satou comes up with this strange conspiracy theory which includes the Nihon Hikikomori Kyōkai (NHK), a secret organization with the intention to make the world filled with hikikomori. Satou wants to break free from the NHK's clutches, but cannot, since he finds it too frightening to go outdoors by himself; that is until he meets Misaki Nakahara, who selects Satou for this "project" to cure him of his hikikomori ways.
